
SWEDISH TURKEY MEATBALLS



INGREDIENTS
- 1 (24 ounce)bag Essential Everyday frozen turkey meatballs
- 1/4 cup Essential Everyday unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup Essential Everyday all purpose flour
- 4 cups Essential Everyday Turkey cooking stock
- 1 cup Essential Everyday sour cream
- 4 cups Essential Everyday wide egg noodles
- 1/4 cup Wild Harvest organic parsley chopped
- pinch kosher salt
- pinch black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place meatballs on a parchment lined baking sheet, cook for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile in a large saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Once butter has melted, whisk in flour. Continue to cook until slightly browned, 3-4 minutes.
Gradually add the turkey stock while stirring. Cook for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add sour cream, meatballs, salt and pepper to the mixture. Stir well and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
While sauce is cooking, use a 6-8 quart stock pot to bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add salt, if desired.
Cook noodles until al dente, about 7-8 minutes. Remove from heat and drain well.
Serve meatballs and sauce over cooked egg noodles. Garnish with chopped parsley.
