SLOW COOKER APPLE CINNAMON STEEL-CUT OATMEAL

INGREDIENTS
  • Wild Harvest organic canola oil spray
  • 2 Wild Harvest organic Honeycrisp apples peeled, cored and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 1/2 cups organic 1% low fat milk
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • organic California raisins
  • 2 tablespoons organic light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons organic unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon organic ground Saigon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Wild Harvest ground flax seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Wild Harvest organic walnut pieces
  • organic 100% pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup organic steel cut oats

DIRECTIONS

Coat the inside of a slow cooker with canola oil spray. Add all ingredients except for the toppings.

Stir, cover and cook on low for approximately 7 hours.

Spoon oatmeal into bowls and top with raisins, maple syrup, and walnuts.
