
SLOW COOKER THREE BEAN CHILI



INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon Wild Harvest organic olive oil
- 2 pounds grass fed organic 90% ground beef
- 1 medium organic yellow onion diced
- 1 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
- 1 (15 ounce) can Wild Harvest organic dark red kidney beans drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 ounce) can organic black beans drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 ounce) can organic pinto beans drained and rinsed
- 2 (14.5 ounce) cans organic tomato sauce
- 1 (4 ounce) can Essential Everyday diced green chiles
- 1 cup Wild Harvest organic beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Wild Harvest organic chili powder
- 1 tablespoon Wild Harvest organic cumin
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Essential Everyday granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Essential Everyday shredded colby jack cheese
- Essential Everyday sour cream
- green onion sliced
DIRECTIONS
Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, onion and garlic and cook until beef is completely browned, approximately 8-10 minutes
Drain and discard the excess fat. Transfer cooked beef to a slow cooker.
Add the remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Garnish chili with shredded cheese, sour cream and green onion.
