SLOW COOKER THREE BEAN CHILI

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 tablespoon Wild Harvest organic olive oil
  • 2 pounds grass fed organic 90% ground beef
  • 1 medium organic yellow onion diced
  • 1 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can Wild Harvest organic dark red kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can organic black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can organic pinto beans drained and rinsed
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans organic tomato sauce
  • 1 (4 ounce) can Essential Everyday diced green chiles
  • 1 cup Wild Harvest organic beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Wild Harvest organic chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Wild Harvest organic cumin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Essential Everyday granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Essential Everyday shredded colby jack cheese
  • Essential Everyday sour cream
  • green onion sliced

DIRECTIONS

Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, onion and garlic and cook until beef is completely browned, approximately 8-10 minutes

Drain and discard the excess fat. Transfer cooked beef to a slow cooker.

Add the remaining ingredients, stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Garnish chili with shredded cheese, sour cream and green onion.
