
APPLE CRISP

INGREDIENTS
- Apple Filling
- 8 cups apples peeled cored and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 ground cinnamon
- 1 cup water
- Oatmeal Topping
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar firmly packed
- 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
- 1/4 cup instant nonfat dried milk
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 cup butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375�F.
In a 9 inch x 13 inch baking dish, combine apples, lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon.
Pour water over mixture.
In a separate bowl, prepare Oatmeal Topping by mixing ingredients together.
Pour Oatmeal Topping over fruit mixture in large lumps.
Bake about 50 minutes until topping is golden brown.
