
BEER BRAISED PEARL ONIONS



INGREDIENTS
- 1 bag (14 ounces) frozen pearl onions
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup ( 8 ounces) dark beer
DIRECTIONS
1. In a medium non-stick skillet melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, garlic powder, and salt. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook onions, stirring frequently, until they turn golden brown (about 30 minutes).
2. Add beer and return heat to medium. Cook, stirring frequently, until all the liquid is gone. Remove from heat and serve.
