CHOCOLATE-GUINNESS® SHAKE

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 6 large pretzel rods
  • 1/2 cup Guinness draught
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge topping
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream divided
  • 1 cup milk divided

DIRECTIONS

Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe dish for 30 seconds. Stir; return to microwave for 15 seconds more if needed to completely melt chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Dip the ends of the pretzel rods into the melted chocolate. Transfer dipped pretzels to a sheet of waxed paper; cool until set.

Combine GUINNESS® and hot fudge sauce in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat until smooth, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and let mixture cool.

Scoop half of the ice cream into a large blender. Add ½ cup of the milk and 2 tablespoons of the GUINNESS® mixture. Cover and blend until thick and smooth. Divide among three large chilled beer glasses. Repeat, using remaining ice cream and milk, and 2 tablespoons of the GUINNESS® mixture. Divide among three more large chilled beer glasses.

Drizzle shakes with remaining GUINNESS® mixture. Garnish shakes with chocolate-dipped pretzel rods. Serve immediately.
