TUSCAN WHITE BEAN AND GARLIC SOUP

Serves : 8 cups

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tablespoons organic unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Culinary Circle Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 each shallots Chopped
  • 1 each organic fresh sage
  • 2 15 ounce cans organic cannellini beans Drained and rinsed
  • 4 cups Organic Chicken Bone Broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 4 cloves garlic Cut in 1/2

DIRECTIONS

In a medium stock pot, heat butter, oil and shallot. Cook, stirring occasionally until the shallots are soft.

Add the sage, beans and broth. Bring to a simmer. Add garlic and simmer until garlic is soft, about 10 minutes.

Puree the soup using a blender or stick blender until smooth. Add the cream, salt and pepper. Serve
