BLUE CHEESE & CARAMELIZED PEAR BURGERS

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Culinary Circle Crumbled Blue Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 medium Bartlett pears
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 original pub-style burgers
  • 6 Ciabatta rolls toasted

DIRECTIONS

In small bowl, combine sour cream, blue cheese, chives and cayenne pepper; salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

Cut pears into quarters; remove core and thinly slice. In large skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Add pears; salt to taste. Sauté until caramelized (about 10-12 minutes). Remove from heat; set aside.

Meanwhile, prepare burgers according to package directions.

Assemble burgers by placing burgers on bottom half of rolls. Top with caramelized pears and dollop with blue cheese mixture.
