
CARAMEL BACON CHEDDAR POPCORN



INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 package bacon cooked and finely crumbled
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 6 ounce bag cheese flavored popcorn
DIRECTIONS
In medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, butter and syrup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Stir in bacon, vanilla and baking soda (mixture will foam).
In large roasting pan, combine popcorn and caramel sauce; toss to coat.
Bake in a preheated 250°F oven 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and spread on wax paper to cool. Store in an airtight container.
