QUICK CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS

Serves : 4 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1 15 ounce can peas & diced carrots drained
  • 1 12 ounce jar home style chicken gravy
  • 1 10.5 ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 cup all-purpose biscuit & baking mix
  • 1/3 cup 2% milk

DIRECTIONS

In medium saucepan, combine chicken, vegetables, gravy, soup and thyme. Salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine baking mix and milk; stir with a fork until just combined. Drop dough by 8 spoonfuls onto chicken mixture.

Cook, uncovered, over low heat 10 minutes. Cover; continue cooking 10 minutes.
