
CHICKEN N RICE CASSEROLE



INGREDIENTS
- 1 6.9 ounce package chicken flavored rice mix
- 1 10.5 ounce can cream of celery soup
- 1 16 ounce container sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 10 ounce cans chicken breast with rib meat in water drained
- 1 8 ounce can whole water chestnuts drained, chopped
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 1 cup slivered blanched almonds
- 1 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
- 1 6 ounce package French fried onions
DIRECTIONS
Prepare rice according to package directions.
Meanwhile, combine soup, sour cream and Worcestershire sauce; mix until well combined. Add in cooked rice, chicken, water chestnuts, onions, and almonds. Transfer to a greased casserole dish.
Bake in a preheated 375°F oven 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with fried onions and continue baking until golden brown (about 5 minutes).
