CHICKEN & RICE

in a Slow Cooker

Serves : 8 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 26 ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups long grain white rice
  • 1 cup half & half
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs

DIRECTIONS

In 5-quart or larger slow cooker, combine soup, broth, rice, half & half and thyme; salt and pepper to taste.

Salt and pepper chicken; place in slow cooker, covering with rice mixture.

Cook on HIGH 3-4 hours or LOW 6-8 hours or until rice is tender.
