
TURKEY SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE



INGREDIENTS
- 1 8 ounce package thin spaghetti
- - 100% extra virgin oil olive no-stick cooking spray
- 1 pound lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup minced celery
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 24 ounce jar tomato, garlic & onion pasta sauce
- 8 cups chopped fresh spinach leaves
- - fancy shredded Italian style Parmesan cheese optional
DIRECTIONS
Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.
Meanwhile, in large skillet, over medium-high heat, generously spray with cooking spray. When hot, add ground turkey, onion, celery, garlic and Italian seasoning; salt and pepper to taste. Cook and crumbled until no longer pink.
Stir in pasta sauce; bring to a simmer. Add spinach and continue simmering until spinach has cooked down (about 5 minutes). Serve over cooked pasta and garnish with cheese, if desired.
