BAKED MACARONI & CHEESE

Serves : 6-8 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 12 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups half & half
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese divided
  • 1 cup fancy shredded Italian style Parmesan cheese divided
  • 8 ounces Super Cheezy processed cheese spread finely cubed

DIRECTIONS

Prepare pasta according to package directions, until just al dente. Drain; rinse with cool water.

Meanwhile, in large mixing bowl, combine half & half, egg, mustard, salt and white pepper, until well mixed.

Stir in ¾ cup Cheddar cheese, ¾ cup Monterey Jack cheese, ½ cup Parmesan cheese and processed cheese; add macaroni and stir until well combined. Transfer to a greased 2-quart baking dish.

Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 350°F oven 20 minutes. Stir and sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Continue baking until cheese is melted and bubbly (about 15 minutes).
