SIMPLY SEARED SALMON

Serves : 4 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup 100% pure olive oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 pound salmon fillets cut into 4 portions

DIRECTIONS

In small bowl, combine oil, butter, honey and garlic; salt and pepper to taste. Whisk until well combined.

Place salmon and marinade in a 1-gallon recloseable food storage bag; seal. Toss to coat. Let stand 10 minutes.

Heat a grill pan or large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove salmon from bag; discard bag and marinade. Place salmon, skin-side-up, in pan; sear until golden brown. Turn over and reduce heat to medium; continue cooking until fish flakes easily with a fork (about 10 minutes per inch of thickness).
