SAUTÉED GARLIC & HERB HALIBUT

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup crispy Panko style plain bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Culinary Circle Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound halibut fillets skin removed
  • 2 tablespoons extra light tasting olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter

DIRECTIONS

Place flour in a shallow dish and beaten egg in a second shallow dish. In a third shallow dish, combine bread crumbs, cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder; salt and pepper to taste.

Dust fillets with flour, dip in egg and coat with breading; set aside.

In large skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat. Add fillets to skillet and sauté, turning once, until fish flakes easily with a fork (about 10 minutes per inch of thickness).
