RICE PUDDING

Serves : 8 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup short grain rice
  • 3 cups organic vanilla ricemilk
  • 1/3 cup organic raw cane sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon organic ground Saigon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground sea salt

DIRECTIONS

In medium saucepan, bring water to a boil; add rice. Cover and simmer until rice is al dente (about 20 minutes).

Meanwhile, in large mixing bowl, whisk milk, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt until well combined.

Stir milk mixture into cooked rice. Simmer until thick and creamy (about 15-20 minutes).

Remove from heat; serve warm.
