CHOCOLATE ALMOND FUDGE BROWNIE DESSERT

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 19.8 ounce package fudge brownie mix
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 2 ounce package sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 1.5 quart container chocolate almond fudge ice cream softened
  • - hot fudge topping warmed

DIRECTIONS

Prepare brownie mix according to package directions in a 13x9-inch baking pan; cool completely.

Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in almonds; sauté 2 minutes. Add in brown sugar and stir until sugar is completely melted and bubbly. Remove from heat and spread almonds on a greased piece of aluminum foil; set aside to cool.

Spread ice cream over cooled brownie; cover and freeze until firm.

Cut into 15 servings. Drizzle with warmed hot fudge and almond pieces.
