
CHERRY COBBLER



INGREDIENTS
- 6 tablespoons softened butter divided
- 1 7.5 ounce container refrigerated buttermilk biscuits dough
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 20 ounce can cherry pie filling
DIRECTIONS
Place 2 tablespoons butter in an 8x8-inch baking dish. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven until melted (about 2-3 minutes).
Meanwhile, cut biscuits into quarters; set aside. In small bowl, combine remaining ¼ cup butter, oats, sugar and cinnamon. Using a pastry blender or two forks, mix until well combined; set aside.
Remove baking dish from oven and top with biscuits. Pour pie filling over biscuits; sprinkle with oat mixture. Continue baking 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden and cooked through.
