
CINNAMON RAISIN FRENCH TOAST



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup blended vanilla lowfat yogurt
- 1/2 cup organic 1% low fat milk
- 3 organic large brown eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon organic ground Saigon cinnamon
- - organic butter
- 16 slices cinnamon raisin bread
- - organic 100% pure maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
In shallow dish combine yogurt, milk, eggs and cinnamon. Whisk until well combined.
Heat a griddle or flat skillet over medium heat. Melt a small amount of butter on griddle, just to cover.
Dip bread slices in egg mixture, soaking both sides. Place slices on griddle and cook until golden brown on both sides (about 1½-2 minutes per side).
Remove from griddle; keep warm. Repeat with remaining bread. Serve hot with maple syrup.
