CHOCOLATE & PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIES

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup organic raw cane sugar
  • 3/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed organic light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/2 cup organic chocolate soymilk
  • 1/3 cup organic butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon organic pure vanilla extract
  • 2 organic large brown eggs
  • 1/2 cup organic crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 cups organic peanut butter & chocolate dots cereal

DIRECTIONS

In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, brown sugar, baking powder and salt; whisk to combine. Stir in milk, butter, vanilla and eggs until just combined.

Transfer to a greased 9x9-inch baking pan. Place peanut butter in a microwave-safe dish; microwave (HIGH) 10-20 seconds or until thin. Drizzle over brownie batter.

Sprinkle with cereal; press into batter slightly. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 25 minutes; cover and continue baking 15-20 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
