SPICY SAUSAGE & MUSHROOM PASTA

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 6.2 ounce package shells & white Cheddar pasta & sauce
  • 1/2 pound bulk spicy Italian sausage
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

DIRECTIONS

Prepare pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in large skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble sausage until no longer pink; drain off grease.

Stir in mushrooms, onions and red pepper flakes; salt and pepper to taste. Sauté until mushrooms and onions are softened (about 5-7 minutes).

Stir sausage mixture and tomatoes into prepared pasta.
