SLOW COOKER LASAGNA

Serves : 8 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 2 24 ounce jars three cheese pasta sauce
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 16 ounce container cottage cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese divided
  • 1/2 cup Culinary Circle Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano leaves
  • - canola oil no-stick cooking spray

DIRECTIONS

In medium skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble cook sausage until brown; drain. Add pasta sauce and heat through.

In large bowl combine cottage cheese, 2 cups mozzarella, parmesan, parsley and oregano.

Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Spoon a layer of meat mixture onto the bottom of slow cooker. Add a double layer of noodles on top, break noodles to fit if needed. Top noodles with a portion of cheese mixture. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used.

Top with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Cover and cook on LOW 4-6 hours.
