
QUICK & EASY PASTA CARBONARA



INGREDIENTS
- 1 7.3 ounce package white Cheddar macaroni & cheese dinner
- 1/4 pound bacon chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1 large egg beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup frozen green peas
DIRECTIONS
Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in medium skillet, sauté bacon and onions until bacon is crisp; drain off bacon drippings.
In medium bowl, combine milk, egg and contents of cheese packet.
Add cheese mixture, butter, peas and bacon to pasta. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and heated through.
