PLUM BLUEBERRY COMPOTE

Serves : 3 cups

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 30 ounce can whole purple plums in heavy syrup drained, pitted and sliced
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries thawed
  • 1 tablespoon 100% maple syrup

DIRECTIONS

In large skillet over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar; cook until melted, stirring constantly (about 2-3 minutes).

Stir in plums and blueberries; continue cooking until blueberries start to reduce to a syrup (about 10 minutes), stirring occasionally.

Stir in maple syrup; continue cooking 1-2 minutes.
