ANIMAL CRACKER CARAMEL SNACK MIX

Serves : 12 (1 cup) servings
INGREDIENTS
  • 4 cups cheese puffs
  • 2 cups animal crackers
  • 2 cups teddy bear chocolate graham snacks
  • 2 cups crispy corn funnel snacks
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS

In large roasting pan, combine cheese puffs, crackers, funnel snacks and pretzels; set aside.

In large saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, butter, water and salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until bubbly around edges. Continue cooking 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over snack mix; stir until well coated.

Bake in a preheated 300°F oven 15 minutes, stirring half way through. Remove from oven and spread on wax paper. Quickly separate; let cool. Store in an airtight container.
