SPICY TORTILLA APPETIZERS

Serves : 50 appetizer slices
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/4 cups fancy shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 1.25 ounce package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 4.25 ounce can chopped ripe olives
  • 1 4 ounce can diced green chiles well drained
  • 1 4 ounce can diced jalapeno peppers well drained (optional)
  • 1 4 ounce jar sliced pimento peppers drained
  • 2 green onions minced
  • 3 tablespoons Louisiana hot sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 5 10-inch burrito style flour tortillas
DIRECTIONS

In medium bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheese, taco seasoning, olives, green chiles, jalapeños, pimentos, green onions, hot sauce and cilantro. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat until well combined.

Evenly spread 1/5 of mixture on a tortilla; tightly roll-up tortilla. Repeat with remaining tortillas and refrigerated at least 1 hour.

Slice at a slight diagonal into 1-inch thick appetizers and serve.
