SIMPLE CREAM OF ASPARAGUS SOUP

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 14.5 ounce can cut asparagus drained
  • 1 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup half & half
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper

DIRECTIONS

In food processor or blender, combine all ingredients. Process to desired consistency.

Transfer to a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Cook until heated through (about 5 minutes); salt and pepper to taste.
