
QUICK & EASY CHILI



INGREDIENTS
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 2 10 ounce cans diced tomatoes with medium green chiles undrained
- 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
- 2 1.25 ounce packages chili seasoning mix
- 1 15 ounce can light red kidney beans rinsed and drained
- 1 can spicy chili beans drained
- 1-2 4 ounce cans diced jalapeno peppers drained, optional
- - corn chips
- - shredded mild Cheddar cheese
- - sour cream
DIRECTIONS
In large stockpot or Dutch oven, cook and crumble ground beef, onions and peppers until beef is no longer pink; drain.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce and chili mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer.
Add kidney beans, chili beans and jalapeƱos (optional). Simmer 10 minutes or until desired doneness.
Serve with corn chips, cheese and sour cream.
