QUICK & EASY CHILI

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped
  • 2 10 ounce cans diced tomatoes with medium green chiles undrained
  • 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 2 1.25 ounce packages chili seasoning mix
  • 1 15 ounce can light red kidney beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 can spicy chili beans drained
  • 1-2 4 ounce cans diced jalapeno peppers drained, optional
  • - corn chips
  • - shredded mild Cheddar cheese
  • - sour cream

DIRECTIONS

In large stockpot or Dutch oven, cook and crumble ground beef, onions and peppers until beef is no longer pink; drain.

Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce and chili mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to simmer.

Add kidney beans, chili beans and jalapeƱos (optional). Simmer 10 minutes or until desired doneness.

Serve with corn chips, cheese and sour cream.
