BACON WRAPPED PRUNES

with Goat Cheese

Serves : 8 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 26 pitted prunes
  • 6 1/2 teaspoons Culinary Circle Soft Goat Cheese divided
  • 13 slices bacon cut in half
  • 1/2 cup 100% maple syrup

DIRECTIONS

Cut a slit in each prune to create a pocket; stuff with 1/4 teaspoon goat cheese.

Wrap with half slice of bacon and place on a large baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 450°F oven 15 minutes. Turnover and continue baking 10 minutes.

Brush with maple syrup and continue baking 3-5 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serve with toothpicks, if desired.
