
THREE ALARM CHILI



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 16 ounce package dried red kidney beans soaked, rinsed and drained
- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 green bell pepper chopped
- 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
- 2 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes with green chiles undrained
- 1 4 ounce can diced jalapeño peppers undrained
- 2 1.25 ounce packets chili seasoning mix
DIRECTIONS
Cook beans according to package directions.
Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 1½ hours, stirring occasionally.
Stir in cooked beans; continue simmering 30 minutes or until beef is tender. Serve with sour cream and shredded Cheddar cheese.
