SLOW COOKER POT ROAST

Total Time : 4-6 hours
Serves : 8 servings

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (2-3 pound) boneless chuck pot roast
  • - garlic powder
  • - salt
  • - ground black pepper
  • 1 pound baby carrots
  • 1 large yellow onion quartered, quarters cut in half
  • 1 8 ounce package sliced mushrooms
  • 1 12 ounce jar home style beef gravy
  • 1 10.5 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1 ounce envelope onion soup & dip mix
  • 2 tablespoons refrigerated prepared horseradish

DIRECTIONS

Rub roast with garlic powder, salt and pepper; transfer to slow cooker. Add carrots, onions and mushrooms.

In medium bowl, combine gravy, mushroom soup, soup mix and horseradish (if desired). Pour over roast.

Cook on HIGH 4-6 hours or LOW 8-10 hours or until roast is fork tender.
