STRAWBERRY PEACH CRUNCH CAKE

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 15 ounce cans peach slices in 100% juice
  • 1 1/2 cups good day with strawberries cereal
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 15.25 ounce package yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup cold butter cut into 16 pieces
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

DIRECTIONS

Drain juice from peaches into a medium bowl; set peaches aside. Stir cereal into juice and let stand 10 minutes or until cereal softens.

Layer peaches in bottom of a 13x9-inch baking dish; pour cereal with juice over peaches. Top with sliced strawberries.

Sprinkle dry cake mix over strawberries. Dot with butter pieces; sprinkle with brown sugar and walnuts.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
