
SMOKED SAUSAGE & BEANS



INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon pure vegetable oil
- 1 14 ounce package smoked sausage ring sliced, slices cut in half
- 1/2 cup diced carrots
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 16 ounce package frozen Fordhook lima beans thawed
- 1 16 ounce can baked beans
- 1 cup hickory smoke barbecue sauce
- 1 cup sauerkraut
DIRECTIONS
In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage, carrots and onions; salt and pepper to taste. Sauté until onions are softened (about 3-5 minutes).
Transfer to a large slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients.
Cook on HIGH 2-3 hours or LOW 4-6 hours or until vegetables are very tender.
