PUMPKIN SPICED GRANOLA

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 2 cups puffed rice cereal
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup 100% pure pumpkin
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans

DIRECTIONS

In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, puffed rice, pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon; set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, applesauce, pumpkin and vanilla.

Add pumpkin mixture, raisins and pecans to cereal mixture; stir until well combined.

Transfer to two large greased baking sheets, spreading into a single layer.

Bake in a preheated 325°F oven 30 minutes; stir and continue baking 15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.

Remove from oven and transfer to a cooling rack; cool completely. Break up as desired; store, refrigerated, in an airtight container.
