
CHERRY CHEESECAKE TURNOVERS



INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 8 ounce package cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar divided
- 1 17.3 ounce package frozen puff pastry sheets thawed
- 1 cup frozen dark sweet cherries thawed, drained and chopped
DIRECTIONS
In medium bowl, combine cream cheese and ¼ cup sugar; using an electric mixer, beat on medium until well combined.
Unfold puff pastry sheets; repair any cracks by pressing together. Trim each sheet into a square; cut each square into 6 smaller squares.
Spoon 1 tablespoon cream cheese into center of each square; top with 1 tablespoon chopped cherries. Fold pastry into a triangle; press edges together to seal. Place on a large baking sheet.
Bake in preheated 400°F oven 25 minutes or until puffed and lightly golden brown. Sprinkle with remaining powdered sugar.
