QUICK & EASY CHERRIES JUBILEE

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cups fresh cherries pitted
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • - vanilla ice cream

DIRECTIONS

In small bowl, whisk together orange juice, corn starch and honey. Transfer to a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, whisking until thickened.

Stir in cherries and orange zest; simmer 6-8 minutes or until cherries are softened. Remove from heat.

Pour in brandy and ignite with a long lighter. Gently shake pan until flame has gone out. Serve over ice cream.
