SOUR CREAM RAISIN GRITS PIE

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup quick grits
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup half & half
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 frozen 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup raisins

DIRECTIONS

In microwave-safe bowl, combine grits and water; microwave on HIGH for 1 minute or until hot. Stir in sour cream; cool.

Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine sugar, eggs, half & half, flour and cinnamon; mix until well combined. Add cooled grits and raisins; stir until combined. Pour into pie crust. Place on a baking sheet.

Bake in a preheated 325°F oven 35-40 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
