SHREDDED WHEAT CROUTONS

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups spoon size shredded wheat cereal
  • 2/3 cup Culinary Circle Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

DIRECTIONS

Place shredded wheat, cheese, oregano, basil and garlic in a 1-gallon recloseable food storage bag; seal. Toss until well combined. Pour in melted butter and reseal bag; toss to coat.

Spread mixture evenly in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 15 minutes or until cheese becomes golden brown.

Toss with your favorite salad.
