
SWEET & SPICY PECANS



INGREDIENTS
- 1 16 ounce package pecan halves
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
DIRECTIONS
Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil; spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
In large bowl, combine pecans, corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla; toss to coat. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients; toss to coat. Transfer to prepared baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 5 minutes. Stir pecans; continue baking 5 minutes. Transfer to waxed paper; quickly separate pecans. Cool completely.
