
CHEESE STUFFED SHELLS



INGREDIENTS
- 14 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 15 ounce container part skim ricotta cheese
- 1 cup fancy shredded Italian style Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg beaten
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 24 ounce jar tomato, garlic & onion pasta sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS
Prepare pasta shells according to package directions; drain.
Meanwhile, in large bowl combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg and Italian seasoning; salt and pepper to taste.
Place 1 cup pasta sauce in the bottom of an 11x7-inch baking dish. Fill shells with ricotta mixture; place in baking dish. Top with remaining pasta sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Bake, covered, in a preheated 375°F oven 30 minutes. Remove cover and continue baking 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
